My Ask
I am enlisting you – my friends, family, and colleagues – to support 10 children by the opportunity to dream and see those desires realized. You can help these children get the competitive head start they need by helping to sponsor their education.
I reached out to teachers in my home village, and they provided the names of 10 children who are most in need. I am asking you to help provide educational opportunities for 10 children in Samanyika who are unable to pay the nominal fees required to attend school.
I have seen firsthand in my work with UNICEF the impact of changing communities through education. It opens doors and provides broader opportunities to improve lives and pursue dreams. In fact, whole communities’ benefit when children are given a chance to develop their natural talents and abilities. Who knows what one of these children may eventually contribute to medicine, politics, or any number of communal or global challenges? This is our opportunity to water and nourish seeds for solutions. Gifting an education, gifts the world.

Update – Our First Year
As we start 2023 full of new goals and commitments, I would like to thank all of you who were kind enough to take a leap of faith in supporting the Friends of Samanyika Community Initiative in 2022. Your generous contributions raised $440, which were transferred directly to the Samanyika School account!
